The guest room at Dawn & Eric’s house is all set up with memorabilia from their lives. Dawn’s father was a very good friend of mine it was really nice to see so much of his stuff there in the room; saddles and tack, the Furry Creek C3 brand registration certificate, family pictures, etc.\u00a0 I thoroughly enjoyed the trip down memory lane – heart warming even if it was a little sad.\u00a0 Great time with the Potter family – and their baby is amazing, the only time she cried or even fussed was when they gave her to me.<\/p>\n

Guess I was kinda tired because I went to bed at 10:00 and slept until 8:00.\u00a0 I never sleep that long unless I’m sick or something. I felt great this morning though and it looked like I was going to be dry all the way to Myrtle Beach. (“all the way”?? – that’s a joke really – less than 100 miles).\u00a0 Sumter, SC is a little off the beaten path and from there to Myrtle Beach is back roads all the way.\u00a0 Smooth and dry back roads, who could ask for more.<\/p>\n

Made it to the east coast.\u00a0 I’ll be here playing golf for about a week so the posts will likely drop off for a little while, but you can be sure that I’ll be back in your IN Box when I start back on my journey to the four corners of the United States.<\/p>\n
